- In most cases, you should apply for Medicare as soon as you’re eligible.
- The initial enrollment period starts 3 Months before the moth you turn 65 years old.
- Your birth month.
- 3 Month past the month you turn 65 years old.
What is Original Medicare?
Is a fee – for – services plan that has only 2 parts (Part A hospital insurance & Part B medical insurance).
What is Medicare Advantage?
Is an “all in one” alternative to Original Medicare. These bundle plans include Part A, Part B, and usually Part D. Usually provide additional benefits not offered by Original Medicare.
